Hi, I’m Agne

I started out in ceramics by taking classes in search for a new hobby, and boy has that hobby taken off! I’m so excited to be able to share my work and passion for both functional and purely decorative pieces.

The idea behind the name Daughters of Zeus comes from my lifelong fascination with Greek Mythology. The never ending list of characters, outlandish behavior, the tug between virtues and vices have provided me with endless inspiration. The shapes, colors, and textures of my work draw from the characters and previous depictions, especially sculptures, of the Greek Myths.

Everything on this site is handmade by me in my studio in Red Hook, Brooklyn. You’ll find some of the pieces I have on hand and ready to ship on this site, but I’m happy to make items to order, just reach out!

Shipping?

I try to ship everything out as fast as possible, but please expect a week for the item to reach you. For now, I’m only offering shipping to the US.

Is local pickup available?

Yes! If you’re in Brooklyn and would like to pick up your pieces in person please reach out to me at daughtersofzeusceramics@gmail.com.

What materials do you use?

I use mid-fire stoneware and food-safe glazes from Mayco.

What’s the return policy?

I currently do not accept returns, but will send a replacement piece or a refund for any items damaged on their way to you.
